Founded in 2006, IIS Zürich is an independent research institute dedicated to advance scientific studies and technological research. We aim to address the most pressing scientific questions of our time as well as the looming technological challenges facing our society.
We pursue academic research through our affiliation with universities and we further R&D by forming university-industry and industry-industry partnerships. Through amalgamating scientific research with industrial R&D, we develop innovative technologies that enable the establishment of new areas of expertise for our partners. We initiate, plan, lead and execute scientific, R&D and venture projects.
